Artifact 1:
This image is the logo I will be using for my fundraiser! I spent a few hours coming up with designs but I loved this idea when I finally made it! It displays the message of Autism Awareness so if you look at the apparel, you will realize the purpose and will understand the message. I am so excited to see how it looks like on a sweatshirt!

This is a picture of one of the amazing outreaches that I had during my project! I was so grateful that my project was put in local newspapers like Wicked Local, The Enterprise, Taunton Gazette and many local blogs. I was also shocked that WBZ Radio reached out to me to do a story. This tweet is from the reporter I spoke to! All these amazing opportunities helped me spread not only information about my fundraiser but spread Autism Awareness and the importance of inclusion! Here are some of the articles:

I was so excited when I heard that my project was shared on 96.9 during their "hot and trending segment" with the GetUp Crew on Thursday, January 14! As their days good news, they helped spread awareness for both my community and the Autism community! Here is a link to the podcast (begin at 8:20):

This is a screenshot from the website I used to track the amount of orders placed and the amount of money I raised! By the end of the fundraiser, in tandem with these orders and donations, I was able to raise $2,505.45! I will now be able to provide more classrooms than I initially planned with sensory integration materials!

After we sorted through the boxes, we had to package up each order individual to drop off to people's houses (social distanced and covid friendly) and figure out which ones needed to shift. Over the course of a week and a half, me, my family, and some friends went house to house across Easton leaving these blue bags with a thank you note on the doorstep. It took some time organizing the routes, where to go, and packaging them all up but I was able to deliver about 80 orders locally. The rest were either shipped or given to family.

In this photo, I am delivering the orders locally and in a covid-safe fashion to those who purchased for my fundraiser! While it required a lot of driving and getting in and out of cars, I was so excited to get to deliver all the orders that people purchased to help share Autism Awareness!

Pictured here is a photo of me and my siblings celebrating Autism Awareness Day wearing Puzzle Piece Project Apparel and sharing with our community about this important day of inclusion. It was a goal of my project to share this day and information on social media and inspire other people to partake in this celebration.
Time Logs
Time logs are how I log all the hours I spend with my mentor and the fieldwork I complete for my project.
